Introducing The July Dublin Capel Street

The July arrives in Dublin, Ireland. Bringing flexible apartment stays, neighbourhood living and contemporary hotel facilities to the heart of the city.

The July Dublin: A new location on Capel Street

The July brings its Amsterdam-born design-led approach to flexible stays, neighbourhood living and contemporary hospitality to Dublin, and Irish shores, for the first time. Designed for the way people live, work and travel today, the new Dublin aparthotel combines the independence and space of an apartment with the service and facilities of a hotel.

Located just a short walk from the River Liffey and Temple Bar, The July - Capel Street is designed for guests who want to experience Dublin as more than a visitor. With fully equipped kitchens, flexible living spaces and a central location, the property offers a comfortable base for everything from a short city break to an extended stay in Dublin.

Settle in at The July - Capel Street

At the heart of The July is the idea that every stay should work around you. Business trips don't have to feel stiff, and longer stays don't have to feel like you're living out of a suitcase.

Guests can choose from apartment styles, ranging from studios to spacious suits and family apartments, including options with private terraces. Every apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, giving guests the flexibility to cook, dine, work and relax in their own space. Whether you're visiting Dublin for a few nights, working in the city or planning a longer stay, The July offers the space and flexibility of an apartment with the convenience of hotel service.

A design-led Dublin aparthotel

The design of The July Dublin is a collaboration between The July’s in-house design team and award-winning interior design agency, Fettle.

The interiors take inspiration from Dublin’s architectural and cultural heritage, bringing references to Georgian architecture, Smithfield Fruit Market, 14 Henrietta Street and Grattan Bridge into a contemporary setting. The July’s signature clean lines and playful geometry sit alongside references to Irish designer Eileen Gray and a curated collection of local artwork, creating a space that feels distinctly connected to Dublin.

The property also holds BREEAM Excellent certification, with 100% all-electric energy, solar power and non-toxic materials incorporated into the building.

Onóra: A neighbourhood restaurant on Capel Street

At the heart of The July - Capel Street is Onóra, a new all-day neighbourhood restaurant created in partnership with Dublin hospitality group Breen Brothers Hospitality.

The partnership brings together The July’s contemporary approach to hospitality with more than two decades of restaurant experience from brothers Conor and Marc Bereen, whose portfolio includes Coppinger, Orwell Road, Row Wines and Charlotte Quay.

Onóra is designed to be more than a hotel restaurant. With locally sourced produce, vibrant cocktails, an outdoor terrace and a coffee hatch for guests on the move, it will be a place for both hotel guests and the local community to eat, drink and spend time throughout the day.

More than just an apartment

While the apartments are designed to give guests independence, The July Dublin also offers a range of shared spaces and hotel facilities.

Guests can work from flexible co-working spaces, hold meetings in dedicated meeting rooms, rent a private dining area, take time out in the wellness area, complete with a gym and sauna. An on-site laundry room adds another layer of convenience for longer stays.

The property also includes an on-site barber shop and top-floor spaces with panoramic views across Dublin and the River Liffey.

A new neighbourhood destination in Dublin

For Joost van Beek, CEO of The July, bringing the brand to Dublin is a natural next step after its growth in Amsterdam and London.

“We’re excited to bring The July to Dublin. After growing in Amsterdam and London, we’ve learned that the best stays aren't just about a room; they're about feeling like you belong. We’ve built a space that blurs the lines between living, working, and exploring. Whether you’re here for a night or a month, this is a residential haven designed to adapt to your rhythm, not the other way around.” - Joost van Beek, CEO The July

The July Dublin’s General Manager Melanie Nocher sees Capel Street as an integral part of the property's identity.

“Capel Street has such a distinctive soul, energy, and rich history, making it the perfect home for The July. We didn't want to create just another hotel; we wanted to build a genuine neighbourhood destination where guests and locals naturally come together.” - Melanie Nocher, General Manager The July - Capel Street

The result is a new kind of aparthotel in Dublin, designed to feel connected to its neighbourhood while giving guests the freedom to make the space their own.
