Northern Ireland-born Head Chef, Lauren Shimmin, guides Onóra’s menu with locally sourced ingredients, seasonality and simple food cooked exceptionally. Expect dishes such as hibachi-grilled squash with burrata, lamb flatbread with tzatziki and tartare with anchovy aioli. For larger plates, ray wing comes with steamed mussels and puttanesca butter, while glazed roast chicken is served with peperonata. For something sweet, burnt lemon pie and chocolate mousse are among the highlights.

Meet the team

With a portfolio that includes Coppinger, Charlotte Quay, Orwell Road and Row Wines, Dublin restaurateurs Conor and Marc Bereen are well established in the city’s hospitality scene. They bring a wealth of knowledge spanning food, service and genuine Dublin hospitality, shaping Onóra into a natural part of the neighbourhood.

Our curated drinks programme has been developed with Drink Studio, bringing expertise in signature cocktails and bar training to Onóra. From classic cocktails and seasonal signatures to carefully selected wines, local beers and spirits, every element is curated to complement the menu and evolve throughout the day.

OUR DESIGN LANGUAGE

Onóra’s interiors have been designed to create a relaxed and social atmosphere.

Created by The July’s in-house design team with award-winning interior design studio Fettle, inspiration is loosely drawn from Irish design icon Eileen Gray and features a curated collection of locally commissioned artwork. Illustrations by Barcelona-based artist Pol Monserrat bring another distinctive layer to the identity, appearing throughout Onóra, from uniforms to coffee cups.
