In Amsterdam, meanwhile, our autumn calendar is filled with live music, creative workshops, community gatherings and events celebrating the city’s cultural energy.

DUBLIN: THE JULY CAPEL STREET OPENS ITS DOORS

This autumn marks an exciting new chapter for The July, as we welcome our first Irish property to Capel Street in Dublin.

Located in the heart of Dublin city centre, The July - Capel Street brings together flexible apartment-style stays, thoughtful design and a neighbourhood-led approach to hospitality. With fully-equipped kitchens, generous living spaces and the comfort of a hotel experience, it is designed for everything from short city breaks to longer stays in the Irish capital.

The location places guests close to some of Dublin’s best restaurants, pubs, independent shops and cultural landmarks, while Capel Street itself offers a lively mix of local businesses, creatives and visitors.

Whether you're visiting Dublin for the first time or returning to explore a different side of the city, The July - Capel Street offers a new base for discovering it.

MEET ONÓRA, OUR NEW DUBLIN RESTAURANT

At the heart of The July - Capel Street is Onóra, our new all-day restaurant, bar & coffee hatch.

Designed as a welcoming neighbourhood space, Onóra is made for more than hotel guests. Drop in for morning coffee, meet friends for lunch, settle in for dinner or enjoy a drink as the evening unfolds. The concept brings together food, drink, hospitality and community, created in partnership with Bereen Brothers. Its visual identity is centred around the character of Onóra, inspired by the Irish designer and architect Eileen Gray, with expressive illustrations and considered details woven throughout the space.

Onóra reflects the spirit of Capel Street itself: informal, creative and full of character.

As Dublin moves into autumn, we look forward to welcoming guests and locals to discover the restaurant, explore the neighbourhood and experience The July’s newest home in Ireland.

There is also something new on the menu at The Idler, our casual bistro and bar at The July London Victoria.

With a new Head Chef leading the kitchen, the refreshed menu focuses on fresh ingredients, thoughtful preparation and food made in-house. From business lunches and relaxed dinners to family meals and casual bites, The Idler is designed for accessible all-day dining that works for every kind of occasion.

Most produce is sourced within England, while relationships with suppliers such as Direct Seafoods help bring the freshest produce to the menu. The kitchen also takes a considered approach to reducing waste. Fishcakes are made using excess fish trimmings, while the bread and butter pudding makes use of surplus bread.

As the seasons change, the menu will continue to evolve, with the next update expected in early November. Looking ahead to the festive season, The Idler will also offer a £52 pp festive set menu, created for relaxed group dining. Expect sharing starters, seasonal mains and festive desserts, served in a welcoming setting moments from Victoria Station.

MAKE WELLNESS PART OF YOUR ROUTINE

This autumn also sees the launch of new gym and wellness memberships at The July London Victoria.

For £85 per month, members can access our wellness space, sauna and gym, including Technogym equipment designed to support a range of training routines. Whether you're looking to build strength, maintain consistency or simply make more time for yourself, the membership offers a convenient wellness destination in the heart of London Victoria.

For local residents, nearby workers and those who spend time in the area, it is another way to experience The July London Victoria beyond an overnight stay.

AMSTERDAM: AUTUMN EVENTS AND LOCAL EXPERIENCES

Across Amsterdam, Autumn brings a varied programme of events at Vessel and throughout the city.

At Vessel, our waterfront restaurant & bar, Saturday Sessions continue with live bands performing every week. Expect a rotating line-up inspired by everything from bossa and Greek sounds to Dutch classics. Entry is free, making it an easy way to spend a Saturday evening by the water.

For those looking to try something creative, Scent with Love offers weekly workshops. Guests can learn the art of candle-making, create their own signature scent and settle in for drinks and food overlooking the waterfront.

October also brings a series of events connected to Amsterdam’s cultural calendar. Join a run club ahead of the Amsterdam Marathon, and join the cheering crowds during the marathon itself on 18th October.

Later in the month, Vessel will host pre-party dinners, combining food, drinks and music. To close out the month, Art & Sky’s Halloween Special invites guests to take part in a creative painting afternoon overlooking the IJ.
