On Tuesday 28th April, The July London Victoria welcomed contemporary fashion label House of Sunny for an exclusive press lunch, styling session, and collection preview. Set moments from Victoria Station, The July - Victoria provided a central London backdrop for the collaboration, pairing its design-led interiors with House of Sunny’s distinctive visual language for an immersive brand experience.

The day began at The Idler new menu launch where press guests were invited to preview the new seasonal menu in a relaxed, intimate setting with floral tablescaping by Freddie's Flowers.

The experience opened with a welcome introduction from Sunny Williams, founder and designer of House of Sunny, who shared insight into the inspiration behind the brand’s latest collection and its evolving creative direction. This was followed by an introduction from The July team, including the chef, who introduced the philosophy behind The Idler’s new menu, focussing on seasonal ingredients, thoughtful execution, and a modern approach to all-day dining in London Victoria. The experience was designed to feel conversational rather than formal, encouraging dialogue between invitees, The July team, The Idler chefs, and the House of Sunny team.

Following the press lunch, the experience transitioned into The July London Victoria’s events space, which was reimagined for a second phase of the collaboration. Here, House of Sunny hosted an exclusive influencer drop-in and styling session, previewing the brand’s new collection ahead of its official launch later that week on Thursday. The space was transformed into a relaxed styling environment where guests could explore the collection up close, interact with key pieces, and engage directly with the House of Sunny and The July team. Our interiors provided a natural extension of the collection’s aesthetic, with warm, vibrant colours and floral styling by Freddie’s Flowers complementing the collection's design language. Free-flowing drinks and canapés created an informal atmosphere, encouraging movement between styling moments, conversation, and discovery.
